Shady Nook Candles are all hand-poured. Our candles are highly scented and coloured all the way
through. This means that the colour and scent will last right to the end
of the candle. We use only 100% lead free wicks and with proper trimming
our candles will produce less smoking and soot build up on the candle
holders and containers.

Tealights Our scented tealights in aluminum cups
burn for approximately 4 to 6 hours and fit all standard tealight
holders.

Floaters
Set one afloat in a small bowl or a few in a large
bowl. They burn for approximately 3 to 5 hours.

Melting Tarts
Use in a melter or warmer with a tealight. It
throws a wonderful fragrance. To change fragrances, use a pot holder to
pick up the pot pourri pot and pour the liquid wax into a lined
wastebasket or allow wax to harden and pop it out of the holder. Even
unmelted these tarts give off a great scent in a drawer.

Candle Burning Instructions:
Always keep candles free of matches,
wick trimmings and other
flammable materials. Keep wicks centered and trimmed to 1/4" to prevent smoking
and soot
buildup. Always burn a candle in a proper holder on a heat resistant surface.
Keep lit
candles out of drafts. Keep out of reach of
children and pets.
Discontinue use of a candle when only 1/2" wax
remains at the bottom. Do not move a candle when it is hot.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
